About Allegheny Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates

Oral, maxillofacial, and dental implant surgery

Located at 320 East North Avenue Suite 6100 South Tower, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, Allegheny Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates operates as an oral serving Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as dental implants provider, oral and maxillofacial surgeon, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Around Pittsburgh, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across Pennsylvania are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–2 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Allegheny Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates at (412) 359-3988; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Its Google rating stands at 3.0 out of 5 from 73 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pittsburgh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Easy to schedule the appointment. Surgeon Wang was professional, empathetic, and skilled. The best dental experience I ever had!

I just had 4 teeth extracted this morning. Dr. Ahmed. Was wonderful, very courteous and listened to my needs. The female assistant was also on-point. She did a great job in helping with my procedure. I’m sorry, can’t remember her name at the moment. I was so elated (that’s why I forgot, sry about that your name). The appt was quick and painless. And with both their attitudes. Actually made my time go by in breeze. Although it was a bit more toothless, I left with a smile.

NEVER GO HERE!!!! I had an appointment to have a tooth extracted. My dentist emailed my. x-ray in advance of my visit. Upon arrival, the secretary asked if I brought my x-ray with me. It is 2026. Everything is done digitally. I don’t think dentiists even have the ability to print x-rays anymore. The dental assistant took a new x-ray. I had scheduled my appointment with Dr. Dalton, but unbeknownst to me, I got his resident instead. His resident came in and asked me what tooth number he was supposed to extract. He asked if he was supposed to take out my implant. I could not believe that an oral surgeon would look at an x-ray then not be able to discern which tooth to extract then hope that the patient knows! Mind you, the tooth also had a slight wiggle so it should’ve been clear based on the physical examination as well. I told him that my dentist had emailed my x-rays. He told me that their office loses everything. He next instructed me to reschedule my extraction and go to my dentist office, pick up the x-rays and have my dentist sign it before the next appointment so he knows which tooth to extract. No sir. I wouldn’t bring my neighbor’s cat here for such a confusing, outdated

I was directed here when I needed an extraction and couldn't find anyone else who accepted my insurance in the area. The most caring and kind office I have ever dealt with. Of any kind. Ever. The receptionists and all. Incredibly kind and willing to explain every detail and answer every question. It was also the most quick and painless extraction I ever had. Highly reccomend.

We had an amazing experience at this office. My 8 year old daughter needed two teeth pulled so we have had two separate visits with Dr. Dalton. I requested nitrous only, and not sedation and he was very supportive and respectful. He is incredibly kind and patient. My daughter was very nervous both times and he remained supportive and never rushed her. I highly recommend Dr. Dalton. His assistant, Shannon was also very patient and sweet. The staff was so kind and gentle with my daughter. When we walked in for the second appointment the lady at the front desk had a big smile and said hello to my daughter and addressed her by name. It made her feel special. The staff when checking out was polite and very cheerful both times. It is so important that we don’t make children fear going to the dentist or make them have a negative experience and the staff here did this remarkably. This office does not see children regularly, but I highly recommend them to any parent looking for an oral surgeon.
